This small sturdy building is both the company store and camp office. 
Here, the lumberjacks can buy whatever they need, either for cash or on
credit against their next pay.  Goods are piled high, stacked in every
corner -- whatever one might need or want to live and work in the cold
north.  Behind the rough lumber counter, the camp clerk presides over the
company books and records, and keeps the store in order.
