Here, the black-brown earthen walls quickly changes to cut black stone
walls.  The stone used in the construction here is identical to the stone
used to construct the castle above the maze, and has the same unnatural
chill to it.  A set of brass doors block the way south, while to the north a
passageway leads off into darkness.  The southern side of the room somehow
seems darker than the rest and you get the feeling that you are not welcome
to the south, and it might not be a bad idea to turn around and go back.
