You are walking in a stream that branches off the main river of ice,
small pieces of ice flow past you.  The lower part of your body slowly
begins to numb as the cold becomes more and more severe.  Your feet are
soaked and wet beyond belief, the threat of frostbite, and freezing to death
wanders about in your mind.  The stream flows to the west, and to the east
is the main river.
