You are at the northeastern edge of a large pond in the middle of
Privateer's Park in Pirate's Cove.  The water in the pond is crystal clear,
through which you can see a rocky bed that seems to be only a handsbreath
beneath the surface.  A stone embankment that surrounds the pond is to the
north and east, preventing you from climbing out.  The pond stretches to the
south, west, and northwest.  A smill island lies to the southwest.
