You are in a small inlet at the southern edge of a large pond in the
middle of Privateer's Park in Pirate's Cove.  The water in the pond is
crystal clear, through which you can see a rocky bed that seems to be only a
handsbreath beneath the surface; amongst the rocks, you seem to see
something gleaming.  A stone embankment that surrounds the pond is to the
east, south, and west, preventing you from climbing out.  The pond stretches
to the north and northeast.
