This is a narrow, but well appointed companionway just off the main deck.
It protects the Captain's quarters, map room, and officer's mess from the
weather.  The companionway is lined with expensive carpetting and decorated
with expensive woods.  There are several portholes along the outer wall
while on the other wall, hang several oil lanterns.  The map room is to the
south.
