This is a small stairwell right off the stone corridor that descends
deeply into the earth.  You look down the shaft to see how far it goes but
your light source only reveals an endless flight of steps.  There is a cool
breeze eminating from the darnkess below that forces a shiver to run up your
spine.  Wherever this leads, it probably isn't a nice place at all.
