The path here gradually slopes down the side of the mountain into the
valley.  From this height and angle you can make out a huge portion of the
island.  The front part of the valley is forestland.  In the back you can
make out another mountain range and a small town with a massive castle.  To
the east of the castle is a large gulch of sorts with a beautiful glimmering
lake.
