The narrow stretch that you walk on now is exactly that, extremely
narrow.  You slowly make your way across the divide looking warily at the
ground in front of you, hoping that you do not plunge to certain doom.  On
at least two sides of the pass there is nothing but a drop straight down. 
The wind from the canyon and the cliff become fearsome as you desparately
try to maintain a foothold.  Huge gusts of wind streak up from time to time
and make you almost lose your balance, perhaps this is not the best place to
be.
