You stand at the edge of the cliff which leads down into the valley
below.  Fearsome winds beat against your brow as you look over the edge into
the misty waters below.  In the distance, judging by the dull roar that you
hear, there appears to be several mountainous waterfalls that feed the lake. 
The castle stands watch over the entire area on the west end of the valley. 
From the looks of things you don't think you could safely climb down, and
judging by the winds it would be too treacherous to attempt to fly down as
well.
