The rest of the house remains intact except for the fiery scars.  In the
far corner here towards the south, you see several skeletons strewn about in
anguished poses.  As you approach the charred bones, you realize that these
people must have been burned alive when the house caught fire.  There are
two larger skeletons that you can spot.  One is at the window; clearly, the
victim died before he could reach it.  The second lies face down on the
floor in a hunched position, covering the smaller skeleton of a child.  The
larger skeleton must be that of the parent, who in the end could do nothing
for her child in the roaring fury of the flames.  
A shadowy form stares at you with blazen white eyes.
'Zazou!' an undead mayor exclaims. 'It was you!  You betrayed me didn't you?!'
An undead mayor begins attacking you!
An undead mayor is in perfect health.
