The Temple of the Mad Overlord                         -      -      -

Year after year of being associated with magic more powerful than ones
wildest fantasy has driven the once noble magician, completely mad.  The
temple, a once proud place of worship for the gods, is now used in disgrace
for the worship of the Mad Overlord himself.  His wits must have completely
left him, for he no longer allows the citizens of his castle to worship
anyone but himself.  He ripped down all previous statues of the various gods
and replaced them with a bust of himself.  To your west lies the exit from
the church, it leads into the castle's courtyard.  
     An ordinary looking dagger lays here.
     A rune covered altar sits here on the Temple's dais.
A thin gaunt man dressed in a pitch-black cloak stands here giving a sermon.
