The hallway is lined on either side with massive windows that give a
breathtaking view of the valley and beyond.  From here you can follow the
massive mountain ranges as they jut out into the distance; the trees on the
valley floor appear to be nothing more than mere toothpicks from this
height.  
A palace functionary wanders about here trying to look important.
