You kiss the ground thankful for arriving "somewhat" safe.  You look
about and see a small stream being fed by a mountain waterfall flow towards
the lake, which is to your south-east.  The ground is indeed made up of
mostly coarse sand, all about you a strong breeze flows around your body. 
The air has the taste of fresh water for a change, it feels good.
