Due to the thick layer of dust that coats the floor of the tunnel and the
musty stench you deduce that no one has traveled this way for quite some
time.  The walls themselves are roughly hewn, it is almost as if this tunnel
was a mistake and no one has traveled this way because of the lack of
practicality.
