The water is cold..  REALLY cold, you wonder why it is not ice yet, from
the way it feels on your skin it might as well be.  Strange blind fish swim
about aimlessly in the inky blackness trying to find something to feed on. 
You dive down and touch the floor of the pool and it is nothing more then a
slimy stone surface, how anything could live in a place like this is beyond
you.  
A wandering soldier walks about on some errand or another.
