You enter a small, cramped room hewn out of the natural rock.  For such a
small room it has a surprisingly high, intricately carved, vaulted ceiling. 
A lone torch lights the way here set into the wall across from the door. 
The ground here is covered in shadow, but you can see a narrow, dark, spiral
stairwell cut into the rock floor.  You can count 6 steps before the
darkness envelopes the stairs and you can see no more.
