A lone torch provides sufficient light here.  Far to the east you can see
castle guests and servants conversing and going about their business.  The
south wall has a door shaped outline in it that contains some sort of
shimmering, opaque substance.  You wonder what might be beyond it.  
A dirty, smelly, lice infested rat is searching for food here.
