A number of tables have been set up here for those who wish to read in
the quiet of the library.  Incredibly you hear no sound at all, not even
from the fountain to the north.  You figure there must be some form of weak
magic at work preventing many forms of noise.  You realize you can speak a
little, but probably not enough to work magic.
