It is difficult to see in this damp cave, but you can make out four
figures approaching you rather quickly.  You pray that they are friendly,
but seriously doubt it.  As they grow closer to you, you realize that the
four figures were the pincers of a giant scorpion.  It's tail dripping with
lethal poison, wavers around, ready to strike.  

A huge scorpion has taken offense to your invading its territory.
