Beaten Path Around the City                            -      -      -

The path goes east and turns again some distance away.  You can see quite
clearly the tall spires of the city of New Kolvir, pointing towards the
skies like twin daggers with their handles staked into the ground.  As you
draw closer to the city gates, there is an increase in activity as more and
more people pass you, hurrying to make their way into the city before the
sun sets.  Above, along the guard walks, the guards patrol the area looking
out for trouble.
