You have entered a marvelously decorated room.  The walls are set with
copper (untarnished and gleaming) panels set between rare woods inlaid with
ivory.  The ceiling is silver, formed so as to reflect and multiply light
within the place.  A raised dais with six steps is against the northern
wall, made of onyx, pink marble, lapis lazuli, black marble, golden
serpentine, and malachite.  A solid gold door is atop the dais.  The only
other exit is south.  
A groaning female spirit wails in misery.
