You have entered a frightfully small room with black granite walls. 
Glowing runes of warding are inscribed all around the upper ceiling, their
true purpose unknown.  Cinders, ashes, charred bones and skulls, the crisped
and blackened remains of clothing and gear, arms and armor - a thoroughly
awful and frightening sight - encircle a raised marble dais in the center of
the floor.  The only exit is west.
