  The kitchen is a massive energy of sweat, perspiration and steam.  There
are bakers racks filled with freshly baked goods ready to be either
assembled for box lunches or stored.  A huge set of stoves are sitting along
the far wall.  There are large pots sitting on the flames brimming with
stocks and tasty soups for the hungry patrons.  There is a long clean
butcher block type cutting board here.  It is twice the size of most blocks
its type.  It sits here cleaned, fresh and ready to be used once again. 
There are normally several people in here but they seem to have migrated to
other parts of the cafe for the moment.  
     A huge, iron, wood burning stove sits along the far wall.
Robert, the chef is here whipping up creations for the guests.
