Anticipation builds inside as you approach the outstanding tetrarch
chamber directly to your north.  The three tetrarchs are firmly positioned
on elevated thrones to your northwest, north, and northeast.  Behind them
stands a narrow corridor leading to the emperor Diocletian.  Crowds of
palace residents interact with the three tetrarchs, who provide discussion
of important daily issues.  Much of the political and economic structure of
the palace is decided by Diocletian's three famed fellow tetrarchs, Hyksos,
Baalbek, and Caracalla.  
A small diseased gray rat runs past your leg.
