Progressing along this passageway is rather tedious, if it can be called
progress at all.  Nothing changes, except arbitrary changes in direction,
and the subtlely-increasing angle of approach.  The hard black-grey inside
of this tunnel edges along, stretching out interminably, and only further
exploration will reveal whether this is indeed the case.  For no discernable
reason, a creepy feeling suddenly emerges from the darkness.  Nothing has
changed, yet everything seems different...
