You come to the end of the hallway and can finally see what is causing
all this smoke and obscene scents.  To the east you see glowing, iron bars
obviously meant to keep whatever is past it inside.  At first you think it
may be a prison, but the bars aren't locked nor would that explain the smell
of burnt flesh and cloth with the thick haze of smoke pouring through the
bars.  Dark shadows crawl slowly along the coats of greenish slime on the
floor and the stone walls while the air grows considerably colder.  Gasping
for air, your lungs retract from the thickness and dampness of the smoke
while the searing pain in your eyes worsens.
