As you make your way through the thickening, wispy puffs of gray smoke an
acrid odor of burning cloth and flesh permeates the air.  You cough and gag
as the fog quickly invades your lungs while a sharp, stinging pain pokes
your already watering eyes.  The hallway is made out of some type of dark
stone, and tiny bugs scatter in random directions at the sound of your
approach.  The main foyer of the catacombs expands to the north while the
dense fog continues to the southwest.
