Thunderheads loom in the distance, not too far away.  The sound of
thunder and the flash of lightning can been seen near you.  The air smells
of impending rain, and dew quickly forms on you armor and weapons.  Though
the clouds seem stable enough, it rumbles and shakes beneath you, as though
some large creature was stomping in the distance.
