This 20 foot wide passage is sheated in marble, veined with streaks of
black.  Its hue darkens as one proceeds to the southeast.  Cressets are
regualarly spaced along the corridors length, but they are unlit except for
a sporadic few.  At an angle turn the walls are decorated with painted
scenes showing captives of all sorts suffering death, fire, wind, and water.
The pictures seem to emit a strange glow when stared at for too long.  The
passageway continues to the southeast.
