Brightly Illuminated Conche - - - (-------------------------------------------------) - <---(M)---> E - - - A miniature rose window engaged on the western wall distributes colored red and yellow light across the base of the semi circular room. In the center of the room is a stylistic podium, upon which a thick, highly detailed book rests. The cover of the book is covered in metal with complimented ivory carvings. Your admiring gaze turns to the actual pages of this codex. Noticing it is translated into a classicizing style of your understanding, you begin to read a few pages. Small illustrations of stylistic figures accompany the hand written passages, which speaks of an archaic trial for courageous youths and the folly of the fearful.
