This hallway flourishes with beauty, grand wall decorations and stylistic
floors extend down this well maintained corridor.  A copper staircase
spirals upward to the triforium gallery on the second story.  To the east
you can see the rectangular chamber of the tetrarchs, strikingly illuminated
by the glow of the nave arcade.  The western hallway continues north.
