A Sparkling Corridor - - - (-------------------------------------------------) W <---(M)---> E - - - Marble portraits stand near the northern wall, in the center is a portrait bust of a young woman. Although her identity is uncertain, you can assume it was someone of great importance to the former Emperor Wencelas. It is notable for its elegance and delicacy and for the virtuoso way in which the sculptor has rendered the differing textures of her hair and flesh. For a moment, you stand and stare at the artificial bust, it is truly a sight to behold. The dark corridor is illuminated by several white candles, and opens to the south, to the resting chamber of the great Bernard Wencelas.
