The hallway is very murky and damp.  The fact that there are little slimy
snakes slithering on the floor doesn't help calm your nerves any.  This
hallway twists about like those snakes do when they move, and the sooner you
get out of here, the better.  East leads deeper into the hallway, while
northwest leads back to the entrance of the hallway.
