It is apparent that this section of the catacombs was hastily carved out.
The walls and ceiling are very jagged and uneven, and the floor is hard to
walk on.  Your steps echo along the hallway, but while the sounds propagate
through the halls, your light cannot seem to penetrate the darkness at all. 
There is an odor coming from the south, and with the stench is a feeling of
evil.
