As you drift further down Rune River it increases in pace and you find it
difficult to fight the powerful current which prevents you from swimming
upstream.  Water splashes against the smooth rocks which lie in your path
and which could easily crush your skull should you be unfortunate enough to
be forced into any.  Towards the edge of the river you see a low hanging
branch that would allow you to pick yourself up out of the river if you
chose.
