You stand upon the muddy river bank of Rune River aware that one careless
error could easily send you plummeting into the deep water.  Although the
river bank is mostly barren, strewn with only a small number of thorny
plants, some underwater weeds creep their way onto dry land.  You can climb
down the bank here onto some stepping stones.  The stepping stones lead
across the river to an island.
