long grass.  The ground beneath you is uneven and as you are unable to see
where you tread, you must take each step with caution.  Blood sucking
insects hover around you, and you can hear the distant sounds of the forest
wildlife.  To the north you can see a rotting log which crosses the river. 
If you are careful it should take your weight.
