A circular tower approximately ten feet in radius extends several floors
upward to the next castle floor.  Apparently the staircase goes to the top
of the tower, which seems to be a watchtower of some sort.  The age of the
tower is apparent by the rust on the stairs, just how sturdy the rusty iron
stairs climbing upward is unknown.  The existence of the stairs itself is a
mystery as the mermen would be able to simply swim their way up the tower to
the next level.
