This narrow walkway is reserved for women and royalty when watching the
religious ceremonies that take place in the center nave on the first floor. 
It circles the entire church, and gives an excellent view the central nave. 
The wall of the church to has been decorated with a number of portrait
mosaics.  The pathway bends as it follows the wall, between the two large
piers you see a small marble staircase leading to the first floor of the
church.
