Descending down the Throat                             -      -      -

You are descending down the throat of Vesuvius.  As you continue down the
throat you can feel the heat picking up.  The rocky pathway spirals around
the inside of the throat almost endlessly.  You can see very little, to
nothing downwards.  You wonder how long it goes on like this.  You shudder
as a faint scream down below reaches your ears.
