This small corner of the chamber has been enclosed by a makeshift wooden
structure.  While the crude walls looked flimsy from the outside, you can
tell from here that they have been heavily reinforced.  The area seems to be
enchanted by a strange spell of some kind, making it very difficult to get
your bearings or even remain standing.  The overpowering smell of incense
does nothing to clear your head, and only makes things more confusing.  
You feel dizzy, and everything seems to spin around you.
A buried monk continues with his chant, and the figure grows larger...
