The Emperor has furnished his sleeping quarters with a great bed, set
with a heavy wooden frame and springs made of interlaced ropes and strips of
leather.  On this framework is a extremely comfortable feather mattress,
sheets, quilts, fur coverlets, and pillows.  At the foot of the bed is a
chest used for garment, and at its side are wooden pegs for clothes.  As you
relax in a most heavenly bed, you notice the small bathing room to your
west, and a wardrobe to your east.
