You stare in amazement as you continue down Cinder Avenue.  The citizens
of Volcanus glare at you with yellow blazes as eyes.  They move swiftly,
their footfalls softly touching the ground.  Small lanterns provide what
light is needed, and the warm cobblestone avenue is covered with a mist of
ash.  Stone buildings rise to the north, each with elaborate designs carved
into the fine volcanic stone exhibiting the skills developed by the locals.
