Huge wraparound windows admit light and darkness from the furthest
reaches of the ethereal plane, the trenchant darkness mixing slowly around
the light patches, like oil through water.  Staring directly into
effervescent darkness hurts, like staring at sun.  The windows, like
everything at the hotel, has been produced to the extremes as muchso as
possible.  They are shatterproof, they can magically turn opaque, they can
retract, and an infinite number of other possibilities, but the most useful
feature right now is that they also dim glare, allowing you to look at the
dark features of the ethereal void, instead of instantly blinding you.  
A uniformed bellboy stands here, waiting on your luggage.
