This is a large field used mainly by the garrison as a place for them to
hone their fighting skills.  The walls surrounding the field are many feet
high, so even though you are outside, you still feel enclosed.  The grass is
worn down in many places, and in others is very brown.  The bushes growing
around the edges of the field are blossoming, and the flowers give off a
very soothing scent.  There is a path worn in the dirt that leads east and
south.  The field continues to the north, south, and all easterly
directions.
