This tiny pier juts out into the sea, looking quite strange since there
is nothing nearby on the shore.  Wet tendrils of mist curl around you, and
the ancient wood underfoot creaks and moans as the waves lap against it. 
You can see sinister shapes in the shallow water which resemble skeletal
arms reaching towards you, but decide that they must simply be old tree
branches.  This entire area is bathed in a faint light that appears to
emanate from somewhere in the island's interior.
