Standing on the desolate shore of the island, you shiver at the cold wind
blowing off the ocean.  The water is gray and featureless in every
direction.  There are huge rocks protruding from the sea just past the
beach, making it impossible to swim out from here.  You can see a small dock
extending from the shore to the east, but you will have to travel back
through the forest to reach it.  
     The rotting corpse of a long-dead fisherman lies here.
