The sea floor is made from fine grains of sand and seaweed.  The water is
very clear along the bottom of the bay.  Small caverns and rockfaces stick
out of the water from place to place.  To the west the bottoms of the cliffs
stick out of the seafloor.  There is no way to get through them.  Small
cracks can be seen near the bottom.
