You are in a luxuriously decorated bedroom on the second floor of
Winterborn Mansion.  As you examine the room, you notice that all the
furnishings are made of gold.  You assume that this is where the guests who
visit the house are quartered, although it doesn't look like anyone has
stayed here for quite some time.  
     A tattered leather book has been left here in the dust.
